We're hiring a Business Data Analyst with a versatile background spanning data engineering, business systems, and analytics. In this role, you'll act as a vital connector between technical teams and business stakeholders, enabling digital transformation through clean, well-documented data pipelines, actionable insights, and system/process documentation.

**Contract duration:** 6 months
**Required Skills & Experience**
+ 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, development, or database management
+ Strong SQL expertise with hands-on experience using relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle
+ Familiarity with data modeling, ETL development, and warehouse architecture
+ Demonstrated ability to convert business needs into effective technical solutions
+ Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
+ Strong communication and presentation skills, especially in executive-facing contexts
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
+ Self-starter who thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced setting
**Desired Skills & Experience**
+ Experience working in transaction-heavy environments like transportation, tolling, or fintech
+ Knowledge of cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
+ Basic scripting skills in Python, R, or similar languages
+ Understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile workflows
+ Experience collaborating with external partners or third-party vendors

+ 50% Data Analysis, Reporting & Dashboard Development
+ 25% Gathering Business Requirements & Process Documentation
+ 15% Supporting Testing, UAT, and Training Creation
+ 10% Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
**Daily Responsibilities**
+ Conduct deep-dive analysis of large data sets to guide business decisions
+ Create data validation processes and reinforce data governance
+ Facilitate user testing, training sessions, and system documentation
+ Proactively identify areas for process optimization and digital upgrades
+ Translate complex business problems into technical data solutions
+ Act as a liaison among IT, business teams, and external collaborators
