Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is recruiting an academic rheumatologist to join the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Medicine.

The Division seeks candidates who are primarily clinicians engaged either in education or research with complementary interest and expertise in general rheumatology practice. A track record of clinical experience and academic interests would be an asset. The successful candidate will work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues and trainees while maintaining a high quality of patient care and high patient satisfaction. A successful M.D. or D.O. applicant will fulfill the following requirements:

• Certification by the ABIM (or Board eligible) in Rheumatology
• Completion of an accredited Rheumatology fellowship
• Record of interest and excellence in General Rheumatology outpatient practice

Eligible candidates must be board certified/eligible in Rheumatology

Compensation Detail

The minimum starting salary range for medical specialties may range from $203,000 to $616,000. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate may vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
