We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Information Technology Operations Lead with strong solution architecture skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing IT operations, developing and implementing IT solutions, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT systems. They must have extensive experience with ServiceNow and hold ITIL 4 certification at an intermediate level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the IT operations team to ensure effective and efficient IT service delivery.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive IT solutions to address business needs, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Design and oversee the architecture of IT systems and solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and recommend best practices.
  • Manage and optimize the use of ServiceNow for IT service management, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
  • Monitor and analyze IT operations performance, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL 4 frameworks, standards, and best practices to enhance IT service management processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, solutions, and processes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, business or a related field.

Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience with 5+ years of leadership experience.

Required Technical Skills:
  • Strong solutions architecture skills with a proven track record of designing and implementing ITSM services and solutions.
  • ITIL 4 certification at an intermediate level.
  • Excellent understanding of IT service management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated CSI experience.

Security Clearance Level: Secret, with ability to secure Top Secret clearance

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. Demonstrated leadership of a team with more than 100 people on an ITSM project.

Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and technologies.
  • ITIL 4 Managing Professional
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • PMP certification
