About the Role

This person is responsible for directly overseeing front of the house and back of the house operations for the outlet. Effectively communicating with management teams, supporting departments and all team members under your direction. Coordinating team efforts to ensure a superior guest experience. Playing a key role with Player Development and Marketing to promote the guest experience. Sales and profit driven focus that meets financial goals while staying in compliance with all regulations, laws, union contracts, policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities

  • Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring service commitments, standards/expectations, financial goals, and policies/procedures are consistently upheld
  • Ability to read and interpret reports relating to the operation and utilize them to improve the outlet through objective analytics
  • Provide consistent leadership and dedication to manage and lead the team members, promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion
  • Update, develop & implement SOP’s, training manuals and policies and procedures to support operational and business objectives
  • Recruiting, interviewing, training, motivation, and evaluation of all restaurant personnel.
  • Coaching for consistent and peak performance from all team members by enforcing all company and food and beverage policies and procedures
  • Oversees and ensures all health, OSHA/safety and sanitation standards, maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment
  • Utilize expertise to create effective action plans to find areas of opportunity and resolve concerns
  • Leads by example by modeling the company culture, integrity and overall
  • Address and resolve team member and guest concerns /complaints within the scope of established guidelines, policies & procedures in a timely manner
  • Oversee profit and loss by following cash control, maintaining inventory, ordering, reviewing financial reports, and recommending action when needed.
  • Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility
  • Assists in the marketing direction and creative promotion of the outlet

Essential Functions

  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment

  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas, as well as lift/push/pull up to 25lbs.

  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel as well as the client.

  • Be a person of integrity, have passion for the business, be team focused, flexible and loyal.

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field.

  • Three to five years’ experience in full-service restaurant management.

  • Serv Safe certified or similar certification

  • Self- motivated, organized individual with exceptional communication and team building skills

  • Must be passionate about customer service and restaurant operations

  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor under stressful situations

  • Must have minimum of an associate degree in Culinary Arts or Industry Equivalent or related experience

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
