A deep understanding of beverage preparation, including the use of adaptogens, botanicals, and flavor-building techniques, is essential. Precision, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable moments are critical to the success of both daily service and special event programming.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a well-stocked bar with all necessary supplies, including functional beverage ingredients, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and tools.

  • Ensure a clean, organized, and sanitary bar environment by regularly cleaning surfaces, tools, seating areas, and workstations.

  • Organize the bar setup for efficiency, optimizing flow for high-volume service and smooth inventory management.

  • Assist with inventory tracking and place supply orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.

  • Prepare fresh garnishes, infusions, and beverage elements in alignment with menu recipes and seasonal offerings.

  • Craft and serve a range of signature non-alcoholic and functional beverages, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.

  • Support light food service at the bar, including the preparation and plating of small bites, snacks, or shareable menu items.

  • Uphold all health, safety, and food handling standards in compliance with local and state regulations.

  • Engage guests with warmth and professionalism, offering recommendations and education around functional ingredients and wellness benefits.

  • Ensure responsible service by monitoring guest behavior and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons.

  • Verify guest age where necessary for compliance with legal requirements or age-restricted product offerings.

  • Promptly respond to guest requests and ensure timely, attentive service throughout their visit.

  • Collect payments and issue accurate change, ensuring transparency and trust at every transaction.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of service etiquette and relevant regulatory compliance to support a safe, responsible, and elevated guest experience.
Requirements + Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality or beverage-focused role, preferred craft cocktail experience.

  • Strong interest in non-alcoholic beverages, wellness, and functional ingredients

  • Ability to craft beverages with consistency, speed, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset

  • Must be 18 years or older in accordance with NYC service and labor laws

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform basic physical tasks as needed

  • Must have or be willing to obtain a NYC Food Protection Certificate (within 30 days of hire if not already certified)

  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on business and event needs

  • Familiarity with NYC Department of Health standards and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

  • Experience with POS systems and basic cash handling

  • Passion for hospitality, wellness, and creating a welcoming, inclusive space for all guests
